Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina launched her four-day busy schedule in Tokyo on Sunday with meeting friends and former Japanese envoys to Bangladesh, recalling their contribution to Bangladesh’s liberation and services for consolidating relationship between the two countries.
A red carpet reception was accorded to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as she arrived here today on a four-day official visit at the invitation of her Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe.

Germany wants to invest in expansion and development of railway network, in-land water transportation, water treatment and waste management sectors. They are also highly interested to invest in Bangladesh for a factory for spare parts machinery for the regional market and considering producing electricity from garbage and waste as well.
