Bangladesh stands today at the edge of a terrifying reality. A group of politically inept, morally bankrupt, and greed-consumed thugs has seized power. In the guise of “advisors”—Nahid Islam, Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan, and Nurjahan Begum—these individuals have built an empire of corruption, hiding behind their personal assistants, aides, and officials, siphoning off hundreds of crores of taka. Yet they preach about reform and transparency, while their inner world is filled with greed, cruelty, and plunder.

Their primary method has been to operate through “associates,” though they themselves are the true directors of this dark play. The PAs and PSs are mere masks. They’ve institutionalized a shameless culture where looting public funds is seen as a badge of honor, and abusing power is considered justified. These criminals still strut around with pride, stirring storms in teacups, and feeding the media tall tales of “development.”

Nahid’s Empire of Darkness Backed by Family and Allies

Nahid Islam, the so-called Information Advisor to the interim government, has never uttered a word against Atik Morshed’s corruption—because Atik wasn’t just a subordinate; he was the central figure in Nahid’s multi-crore looting machinery. The alleged embezzlement of 150 crore taka from the mobile financial service “Nagad” is just one example.

How does Atik maintain a regular office on the 6th floor of the Nagad building? Who is he? Under what appointment? The answer is simple—he wears the veil of power and has turned a state institution into his private looting zone. With his wife made the Manager of Compliance and relatives installed in key positions, this clique is devouring the state. When Nahid says, “The rich donate to us,” the meaning is now clear: they’re not just donating, they’re investing—in looting shares, in promised commissions.

Asif and Moazzem: The Dons of Influence

Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan, Advisor for Youth and Sports and Local Government, has an 'APS' named Moazzem Hossain—who plays an even bigger role. He’s implemented a commission-based system across ministries for tenders, transfers, and appointments. But Moazzem is not alone—he is merely Asif’s mouthpiece. The real kingpin is Asif himself, with Moazzem serving as deputy in this brokerage empire.

In a country where an APS stays at the Secretariat until 10 p.m. lobbying for decisions—exchanging lakhs of taka in the process—who really runs the state? The minister? The advisor? Or the advisor’s fixer? Moazzem’s past mask as a “leader of the anti-discrimination movement” has long fallen. Today, he’s a top beneficiary of discrimination—taking shares in contractors’ payments, selling engineer transfer lists for lakhs. And the one sheltering all of this is none other than Advisor Asif.

Nurjahan’s Syndicate: Predators of the Health Sector

Nurjahan Begum, the Health Advisor—once appointed in the name of “public interest”—is now the chief architect of the health sector’s destruction. Her two “student representatives,” Tuhin Farabi and Dr. Mahmudul Hasan, have extorted lakhs in exchange for transfers of doctors, nurses, civil surgeons, and directors. One hundred such transfers mean 10 crore taka. The Health Ministry has become a paradise for transfer rackets.

Tuhin is now abroad—his money laundering mission complete. Mahmudul Hasan remains active. They collect bribes from every Hajj medical team aspirant, charge lakhs for midwife transfers, and broker medical college postings. How is this possible without Nurjahan’s blessing? They are not just brokers—they are predators. They’ve spat on the nation’s healthcare and the people’s right to treatment.

The Real Name of This Clique: A Gang of Thieves

None of them are just PAs, PSs, or student reps. They are part of a system run by Nahid, Asif, and Nurjahan themselves. There is nothing left to uncover behind these names. They are, quite simply—thieves. The masks are off.

Those who are “running” the state today have assumed power with only one goal—plunder, theft, and embezzlement. Words like election, mandate, and democracy do not exist in their vocabulary. Their real slogan is:
“You pay money, I’ll arrange a transfer. You give a commission, I’ll secure the appointment.”
This is the true face of Bangladesh’s current rulers.

Everyone knows. Everyone understands. But they don’t stop—because there’s no one to stop them. There is no parliament, the judiciary is silent, the media has been bought, and the bureaucracy is completely in their pocket.

There is no room for principles in this state anymore—it is now a playground for thieves.
