In this connection, the Prime Minister assured that her government would provide all kinds of facilities to the Japanese investors.
"Plots have been allocated for the Japanese entrepreneurs in two special economic zones (SEZs) of the country and they could make investment in those SEZs," she said.
The Prime Minister came up with the request when Japanese Ambassador to Bangladesh Shiro Shadoshima paid a farewell call on her at her official Ganobhaban residence here this morning.

Thanking the Japanese government and people for their unequivocal support to Bangladesh's advancement and development, Sheikh Hasina said Japan has huge contribution to Bangladesh's stunning success in every sector.
Appreciating the leadership of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, she said Dhaka-Tokyo relations reached to a new height and Bangladesh got all kinds of Japanese cooperation and financial support during his tenure.
The Prime Minister also thanked the outgoing Japanese ambassador and said that the bilateral ties were further deepened and consolidated due to the effective role he played during his four-year stay in Bangladesh.
The Japanese envoy highly praised the strategic and dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and said he is really impressed observing closely her praiseworthy leadership.
He said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina solved many problems with her prudence and Bangladesh has advanced so much under her leadership. Besides, the bilateral ties between the two countries were strengthened further during her tenure, the envoy said.
Shadoshima expressed his firm optimism that Bangladesh would certainly achieve its goals under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
About the potentiality of Bangladeshi products in Japanese market, he observed that Bangladesh could largely expand its market there for mutual benefits.
While talking about Japanese investment in Bangladesh, the ambassador said the Japanese companies are very much satisfied as they are getting all kinds of cooperation from the government in doing business in Bangladesh.
Highly appreciating the hospitality and cooperation the Bangladesh government and the people provided to him during his stay here, Shadoshima said he is very much impressed with the hospitality. "Bangladesh would always remain in my mind for the hospitality," he said.
PM's International Affairs Adviser Dr Gowher Rizvi, Principal Secretary Md Abul Kalam Azad and Press Secretary AKM Shameem Chowdhuri were present.
