The National Implementation Committee for Administrative Reforms (NICAR) today approved separate proposals for creating two new thanas (police stations) -- one in Sadar upazila in Narsingdi district and another in Kalapara upazila in Patuakhali district.
The cabinet gave its final approval to the draft of "The Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council Law, 2016" incorporating a provision for constitution of a council to give registration to the professionals having degrees in nursing, midwifery and related professions.
