Sheikh Mujib was a well-known face at the forefront of the rights movement since his student life. In his long political career, he led several movements from the front line. He went to jail many times, and the people of Bengal freed him. In whose eyes 7.5 crore Bengalis saw the dream of an independent Bangladesh, and jumped into the war of independence. His struggling life is an example to every generation, there is a lesson in every step he takes. To the present young generation, the name 'Bangabandhu' is the courage and inspiration to move forward. According to them, Bangabandhu means independent Bangladesh.
When we see the fearful faces of the oppressed people who are victims of communal attacks and religious extremism around the world. In such a context, the non-communal ideals of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman came to our mind to forget the religious differences in the world, practice mutual coexistence, practice tolerance and establish peace. From playing a leading role in preventing the communal riots of 1946 to the inclusion of religious neutrality in the constitution as a principle of independent-sovereign Bangladesh, he practised the noble ideal of secularism throughout his life. Let Bangabandhu's noble ideals spread around the world.
Bengali is familiar with the word 'Bangabandhu' since childhood, the significance of Bangabandhu in eighth grade, when I was presented with a biography of Bangabandhu for being the first in attendance. Later, we got to know many freedom fighters by getting involved in the translation of the documents of the liberation war. Through their eyes, we know their Most Reverend 'Sheikh Saab' anew. A freedom fighter explained to that the greatness of Bangabandhu in very simple terms. Bangabandhu's personality was as bright as the sun, which lasted until his death. Because of whose uncompromising leadership we got Bangladesh. Truthfulness, devotion, uncompromising and political wisdom - all qualities were in him. From which our youth should learn. Bangabandhu is a name of inspiration among the youth. This name gives courage to the youth.
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman is a bright symbol of bravery and patriotism. Bangabandhu was another name for freedom to free the country from the slavery of Pakistan. Finally, on December 16, 1971, Bangladesh became enemy-free. Bangabandhu is another name of inspiration for the young society. Bangabandhu is an exemplary figure for the current youth of Bangladesh. His courage, political foresight, hypnotic articulateness, and extraordinary leadership qualities were invaluable assets to Bangladesh. Bangabandhu, who had skyrocketing popularity, was not spared from betrayal. Bangabandhu and his family were brutally killed on August 15, 1975, by self-interested criminals who are enemies of the country and the nation and a shameful black chapter of history were written.
Bangabandhu means a perfect name. Mind like the Himalayas, heart like the sea, heroism and courage - all of Bangabandhu's personality. He was determined. Bangabandhu as a leader and ideologist were devoted to the realization and fulfilment of people's rights, his unfairness, devotion and respect for freedom, and democracy was unforgettable. Unable to overcome this fearless and daring soldier, he was assassinated by a conspiracy. Bangabandhu's attractive personality, his expression, his selfless love for people, his easy mixing with people, and his bravery attracted the young generation more towards him. The birth of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman is a very significant event for the people of this land. That is why we remember his birthday with deep respect. Centuries ago, in a remote village of Gopalganj, the child who first opened his eyes. The way that child changed the political map of the subcontinent step by step through political wisdom, foresight and prudence is the wonder of the world for many. His stand was strong for the exploited people not only of the subcontinent but of the world. Bangabandhu is the inspiration of billions of freedom-seeking people in Asia, Africa, and Latin America.
Bangabandhu's March 7 speech contains the direction of the liberation war. This charismatic leader had already understood that the Pakistani ruling group did not want to give up power. He understood that the war for the liberation of the nation was imminent and he may not be present in that war. He may be arrested again. It seems that is why he clearly said, 'If a shot is fired, and if my people are killed, my request is on you. Build forts in every house. You have to fight the enemy with everything you have and everything you have on the roads, if I can't give orders, you will stop and shut down the roads... Joy Bangla'. Bangabandhu's March 7 speech gave us the motivation for our liberation war. It still inspires the new generation. It will continue to be a source of inspiration for ages to come. Therefore, it is natural for the new generation to consider Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman as a charismatic leader. Because in one speech he was able to motivate the entire Bengali nation to unite and jump into the liberation war. Who else, when did such a charismatic leader impress, and unify in a speech, the wizard of dreams?
Bangabandhu is such an invincible hero of independent Bengal and the best Bengali of a thousand years. Bangabandhu is a great man. There is no death of a great man. They live by action. Bangabandhu and his political wisdom, love for people and establishment of an independent-sovereign state will live forever. Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman will be remembered as long as the country called Bangladesh is known on earth.
Bangabandhu loved children. He used to celebrate his birthday with them. To ensure educational opportunities for all children, he took a revolutionary step amid the economic crisis of post-war Bangladesh by nationalizing primary education and making it free and compulsory for all. The theme of this year's day is 'Bangabandhu's birthday in dreams of smart Bangladesh, children's eyes are coloured with dreams of prosperity.' Bangabandhu dreamed of building a hunger-poverty, developed, prosperous and non-communal Bangladesh. The country has already progressed a long way towards building the golden Bengal of his dream. Bangabandhu took Bangladesh to the height economically and diplomatically in just three and a half years of state management; Today's Bangladesh is the manifestation of that strong foundation.
Bangabandhu himself has shown the way as a source of inspiration. He is the source of our strength and courage. His philosophy, humanity and politics are getting stronger. Currently, Bangladesh is governed by the party founded by Bangabandhu and his daughter. At the same time, the three-term government has taken the country to a high peak of development - it is recognized by the world. The liberation and prosperity of the nation are on the path shown by Bangabandhu. Bangabandhu's self-sacrifice has revealed the Bengali identity. His struggle has been worth it. Bangladesh has been recognized as an independent sovereign state on the world map. Our achievement is not less in any aspect. But there is no room for complacency. Bangabandhu expressed his determination to build a country free from discrimination; How expected is our position there? Are all children still covered by education? When will millions of street children get the way?
Bangabandhu is the light of hope even amid despair. His life and work can help overcome all our crises; Because of this, his biography is needed at all levels of society. Despite thousands of tortures, exploitations, prisons and oppression, he did not make a mistake in creating the education and information technology infrastructure of the country. When the foundation of independent sovereign Bangladesh was laid in 1971, the background of making Bangladesh based on information and technology was laid under the leadership of Bangabandhu. He also places the expansion of information technology as basic needs like food, clothing, shelter etc. He initiated the development of the information and communication technology sector to achieve rapid economic growth.
When Bangladesh became independent in 1971, the third industrial revolution was going on in the world. Bangabandhu saw that many countries in Europe and Asia were reaching the peak of development by exploiting the potential and opportunities of the third industrial revolution. In addition, the invention of the Internet in 1969 increased the speed, influence and power of this revolution. Some countries in Asia, including Japan, China, and Korea, began to exploit the opportunities created by the advent of the third industrial revolution.
The visionary statesman Bangabandhu realized this deeply and took the necessary initiatives. Later, Bangladesh became a member of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) on September 5, 1973, with the sole efforts of Bangabandhu. Following this, on 14 June 1975, Bangabandhu established a satellite earth station at Betbunia. As a result, Bangladesh can easily communicate with the outside world. It is essential to maintain uninterrupted communication with the outside world for the development of a country, the benefits of which we are enjoying today due to the vision of Bangabandhu. The multiple uses and importance of information technology today cannot be overstated. The Internet is the fastest way to exchange information from one end of the world to the other.
Bangabandhu's contribution during his 55 years of life, fighting against the Pakistani rulers and achieving the independence of Bangladesh, cannot be erased. Even in the reconstruction of the country after independence, it has a great role. His success as a statesman from 1972 to August 15, 1975, was no not less. Some people have criticized some of his actions at this time. Even if those criticisms are taken for granted, the name of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib will be remembered as long as there is a state called 'Bangladesh' due to the establishment of an independent state for the Bengali nation called 'Bangladesh'. Even the contributions of other people in the history of Bangladesh's independence, no matter how small, cannot be erased by anyone.
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib was not only the leader of the Awami League. Before the election of 1970, he became the leader of all freedom-loving Bengalis. That is why those who cherish the spirit of the liberation war in Bangladesh, Bangabandhu also. Denigrating him and his contribution is a distortion of history. Office work, business, transactions, agriculture, medicine, education, and many tasks of daily life are becoming fast and easy with the help of modern technology. We are now so much dependent on information technology that we cannot go a single day without information technology. Bangabandhu realized many years ago what we understand now. Bangabandhu's efforts to make education universal without restricting it to any class were noteworthy. He thought that education should be uniform, mass-oriented and universal i.e. education for all. No one will be illiterate everyone will be literate. The new generation will uphold and move forward with the ideals of Bangabandhu keeping in their hearts.
