Jubo League distributes iftar, Eid gifts among 4.66 lakh people during Ramadan

Jubo League, an associate body of the ruling Awami League (AL), distributed iftar items and Eid gifts among the 4.66 lakh distressed people across the country till 20 Ramadan.

The package of gift items included saree, lungi, rice, lentil, potato, onion, one liter soybean, salt, two types of semai, milk and sugar.

The youth wing of the ruling party took the initiative at the directive of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and call of its Chairman Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash.

Earlier, the organisation has also stand by some 86 lakh people during the Covid-19 pandemic giving food assistances, medical assistances for the affected people, burial of deceased people, free telemedicine, oxygen and ambulance services support.

Even the leaders and activists have joined their hand in harvesting paddy during the pandemic situation.
