He said the Prime Minister particularly referred to the two neighours long engagements in trade on borders and sea routes.
Karim said the premier discussed different issues relating to mutual interests with the senior Myanmar official who showed keen interest in replicating Bangladesh's experience in building cyclone shelter centres on Myanmar coastlines.
The Prime Minister, he said, mentioned about the insurgency problems in the neighboring country and said Bangladesh would never allow the Myanmar insurgents to use its soil.
She said Bangladesh earlier experienced nearly identical insurgency problems in the Chittagong Hill Tract (CHT) but "we resolved the conflict without intervention of any other country".
Myint thanked the premier for Bangladesh's support to Myanmar against terrorist activities on the border saying now Myanmar frontier is under control.
The Myamar official also appreciated Bangladesh's socioeconomic progress under Sheikh Hasina's leadership.
