The premier sought this cooperation during a bilateral meeting with Swiss President Johan Schneider-Amman at the UN Headquarters on Wednesday on the sidelines of the 71st session of the UN General Assembly.
Briefing reporters after the meeting, PM's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim said the two leaders discussed issues related to the bilateral interests.
He said the issue of Bangladesh's trade liberalisation came up for the discussion.
Later, President of European Council Donald Tusk called on the prime minister at the UN Headquarters.
During the meeting they discussed issues relating to migration and Brexit, the press secretary said.
Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali, State Minister for Foreign Affairs Md Shahriar Alam, PM's Principal Secretary Md Abul Kalam Azad and Foreign Secretary Md Shahidul Huq were present on the occasions.
