Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina attended the milad and doa mahfil.
Bangabandhu's younger daughter Sheikh Rehana, PM's daughter Saima Wazed Hossain and her husband Khandaker Mashrur Hossain, Sheikh Rehana's son Radwan Mujib Siddiq Bobby and his wife Peppi Siddiq and Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh, MP, as well as other family members and relatives joined the milad and doa.
Besides, Awami League Presidium Member Begum Matia Chowdhury, AL Office Secretary Abdus Sobhan Golap, Awami Sechchasebak League General Secretary Pankaj Devnath, MP, Bangladesh Chhatra League President Saifur Rahman Sohag and leaders and workers of Mohila Awami League and Jubo Mohila League were present.
A special munajat was offered seeking eternal peace of the departed souls of Bangabandhu, Bangamata Fazilatun Nesa Mujib and other martyrs of the August 15 carnage.
Prayers were also offered seeking eternal peace of the departed souls of the August 21 grenade attack victims.
