The directives are:
1. They will have to discharge their responsibilities with more carefully and strictly in maintaining peace, order and stability in all spheres of society by eliminating militancy, terrorism and communalism.
2. They will have to give attention so that the common people don't become victims of harassment and deprivation in any way while receiving government services.
3. They will have to work with more responsibilities to get rid of social menaces like woman and child repression and trafficking, misuse of drugs, dowry, eve-teasing and early marriage.
4. They will have to take special measures for the welfare of the disabled, autistic and disadvantageous community.
5. They will have to be more attentive to alleviate poverty through rural infrastructure development, promoting potential local small and medium-size industries and generating employment.
6. They will have to give leadership in developing and flourishing of information and communication technology to reach the services to the people's doorsteps.
7. They will have to take initiatives to raise rate of women education at all spheres, cut the rate of leaving schools by the students and bring back the dropout students in the mainstream.
8. They will have to keep a watchful eye for increasing transparency and efficiency in land administration and manage as well as protecting the government lands.
9. They will have to take all kinds of measures to make uninterrupted the supply of fertilizers, seeds, electricity and fuel for boosting agriculture production. They will also have to take necessary initiatives to popularize the environment-friendly agriculture management.
10. They will have to create massive mass awareness about checking marketing of adulterated foods and contain such type of immoral act with iron hands.
11. They will have to raise mass awareness about protecting environment and ensure proper enforcement of the laws and rules related to the environment.
12. They will have to take timely steps according to the Disaster Management Law, 2012 and directives related to it meaning the Standing Orders on Disaster, 2010 in mitigating natural disaster. 13.
13. They will have to make effective the village courts to provide justice to the common people and reduce case log in courts.
14. They will have to take steps to ensure peace in industrial belts, make uninterrupted the transportation of goods and export-import as well as eliminate extortion, tender manipulation, muscle power and terrorism.
15. They will have to give the consumer rights an institutional shape and curb any ill efforts to create artificial crises in the market with iron hands.
16. They will have to follow and execute the Women Development Policy, 2011 strictly and will have to ensure proper legal action to stop violence, repression and disparity against women as well as woman and child trafficking.
17. They will have to ensure a scope for education, sports, entertainment and creative cultural activities for the children and juveniles for flourishing their physical and mental growth. They will also have to work on encouraging the children and juveniles in learning history, knowledge and science.
18. They will have to stop drug trade and trafficking as well as their misuse strictly.
19. They will have to preserve the geo-natural characteristics, forests, rivers and water-bodies, animal resources and hills of the Chittagong Hill Districts side by side with accelerating the development of the region. Besides, they will have to extent all out cooperation for promoting the tourism industry, small and medium-size industries as well as traditional cottage industries.
