Tears rolled down her cheek when the Prime Minister was receiving the mementos from the Commanders of senior and junior tigers at EBR Commanders' conference at EBR Centre at Chittagong Cantonment.
Taking some time, the Premier, elder daughter of Bangabandhu, held back her emotion and pulled down her glasses to wipe her eyes, sending a wave of shock to all attending the function.
Sheikh Kamal joined First Bangladesh War Course on October 9, 1971, while Sheikh Jamal was commissioned in Bangladesh Army and joined as junior officer of EBR on July 25, 1975.
Sheikh Kamal and Sheikh Jamal were brutally killed on the fateful night of August 15, 1975, along with most of the family members of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
