The Tigers squared the three-match ODI series 1-1 as they clinched an emphatic seven-wicket victory over the Proteas at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium here tonight.
In a felicitation message, the cricket-lover Prime Minister extended her heartiest greetings to all concerned including manager, coach and cricket board officials side by side with the national team for this brilliant success.
She said Bangladesh's cricket has been placed on the dignified position of the world thanks to highest sincerity of the government for the development of the cricket in the country and sincere efforts of the players.
Sheikh Hasina expressed the hope that the success of Bangladesh cricket team would continue in future.
