During the call on, the Army Chief sought cooperation of the Prime Minister in discharging his responsibility,PM's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim told reporters.
Wishing the Army Chief's success, the Prime Minister assured him of extending all kinds of cooperation in performing his duty.
General Belal took over the charge of the new Army Chief from former Army Chief General Iqbal Karim Bhuiyan who went on retirement on June 25.
