The sports-loving Sheikh Hasina came to the stadium to cheer the Tigers as the Bangladesh team were on the way to their historic ODI series win against Pakistan.
Bangladesh Cricket Board media manager Rabeed Imam told BSS that the Premier entered the ground around 8 pm to watch the match.
Extra delight was seen among the crowds at the big bowl when the Prime Minister was seen on the stadium's giant television screen.
