The Prime Minister said this while talking with reporters after a visit to the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital to see the victims of petrol bomb attacks during ongoing violence of BNP-Jamaat cohorts.
Criticizing those people who are terming this killing and arson as politics, she said "this is not politics, those who are saying that this is politics, they are talking wrong, this is militancy and terrorism. We will do whatever needed to eliminate these culprits."
About the demand of a section of civil society for political dialogue with conflicting political parties, the Prime Minister said, "dialogue with whom? with killers? why the government will sit with the killers.?"
She said, "BNP leader must stop her killing mission. None has given her license to kill people. They will burn people alive, kill innocent people in petrol bomb attack. We can not tolerate it."
"If they have that much of interest to hold dialogue then first stop the killing, arson and attacks," she said adding that there is no place for militancy in Bangladesh.
Sheikh Hasina said, "Khaleda Zia has no humanity, kindness for people, otherwise she could not kill people through arson attacks in this manner. This is perverted mentality."
Blasting Begum Zia for extending their hartal hours till Friday morning, Sheikh Hasina said, "this hartals are seriously hampering the academic lives of the students as well as affecting the SSC examinations."
Khaleda Zia is giving instigation from her Gulshan office where she is leading a lavish life, the Prime Minister said.
The Prime Minister requested people to build strong resistance against this evil force. of BNP-Jamaat nexus and urged media not to broadcast the destructive activities of them as publicity is encouraging them to go for more destruction.
The Prime Minister handed over Family Savings Certificates to 63 burn victims. She talked with them and inquired about their treatment. She asked the attending doctors to ensure all out medical support for the burn victims and said the government would do everything for their treatment.
Advisor of the Burn and Plastic Surgery Unit Dr Samanta Lal Sen and senior officials of DMCH and PMO were present.
