"Either stop violence or you will be arrested at any cost," he told a discussion at Lakshore Hotel in the city this afternoon.

The PM' Advisor said, "There will be no dialogue with those who burn innocent people to death by hurling petrol bombs and cocktails like terrorists."

Suchinta Foundation organised the discussion titled "Terrorism and Politics".

Former Vice-Chancellor of Chittagong University Professor Abdul Mannan, eminent journalist Abed Khan, noted cultural personality Dr Inamul Haque and noted Tagore singer Mita Haque spoke on the occasion, while Suchinta Foundation Convenor Mohammad A Araft delivered the introductory speech.

Joy said they (BNP-Jamaat) are on the way of terrorism and violence, adding, "They are killing innocent people by hurling petrol bombs and setting fire to buses, trucks, trains, launches and other vehicles in the name of hartal and blockade."

"There is no logic to say that the dialogue would stop violence and anarchy," the ICT advisor added.

Referring to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's returning back from Khaleda Zia's Gulshan office without expressing condolence, Joy expressed his concern that how a dialogue would be held with them (BNP), as the Prime Minister had to come back from her door.

"The dialogue would not take place with those who are killing innocent people like the IS (Islamic State) militants," he said.
