Awami League Presidium Member and spokesman of 14-party alliance Mohammad Nasim announced this at a press conference emerging from a meeting of Awami League-led 14-party alliance at the political office of Awami League president Sheikh Hasina at Dhanmondi in the city.
"No hartal will take place in the country on Monday," Nasim said, adding the people will boycott the hartal called by BNP. He said tomorrow's hatral will be as like as the Gazipur one.
Mohammed Nasim also said we will politically face their programme.
Workers Party president Rashed Khan Menon, Awami League joint general secretaries Dr Dipu Moni and Advocate Jahangir Kabir Nanak, Office Secretary Dr Abdus Sobhan Golap, Information and Research Affairs Secretary Advocate Afjal Hossain, Publicity and Publication Affairs Secretary Dr Hasan Mahmud, Deputy Office Secretary Mrinal Kanti Das, AL Central Committee members Enamul Haque Shamim and SM Kamal, JSD General Secretary Sharif Nurul Ambia, Jatiya Party (JP) Secretary General Sheikh Shahidul Islam, Samyabadi Dal General Secretary Dilip Barua and Gonotantri Party General Secretary Nurur Rahman Selim were present, among others, on the occasion.
