The nine banks are - Exim Bank, Al Arafah Islami Bank, Eastern Bank, NRB Bank, One Bank, Premier Bank, SBAC Bank, City Bank and Uttara Bank.
PM's Press Secretary AKM Shameem Chowdhuri said that Chairmen and MDs of these banks handed over the blankets to the Prime Minister at her official residence Ganabhaban.
Chairman of Anwar Khan Medical College Anwar Hossain Khan also donated 10,000 pieces of blankets to the Prime Minister's Relief and Welfare Fund.
President of the Bangladesh Association of Banks (BAB) Md Nazrul Islam Mazumder was present, among others.
