Abdur Razzaque's 3rd death anniversary observed

Different political and social organizations have taken various programmes on Tuesday marking the death anniversary of the national leader.

The ruling party showed rich tribute placing floral wreaths at the graveyard of the former lawmaker and one of the great organizers of the Liberation War at 9 this morning.

Advisory council member and Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed, Minister for Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader, Labour Affairs Secretary of the ruling party Habibur Rahman Siraj, former Home Minister Shamsul Haque Tuku, Nahim Razzaque, son of the deceased leader, Shariatpur Upazila Chairman Mobarak Ali Sikder also were present.

Then, different front and associate organizations including Jubo League, Swechasebok League, Sramik League, Chatra League, Abdur Razzaque Srimiti Parishad, Bangabandhu Srimiti Parishad and Amra Mukitjoddar Santan also showed respect to the leader by placing floral wreaths at his graveyard.

Recalling the memory of late Abdur Razzaque, veteran ruling party leader Tofail Ahmed said "Abdur Razzaque had worked for establishing the right of the people until his death."

To mark the day, the ruling party organized a doa and milad-mahfil at the mosque adjacent to the Banani graveyard seeking the eternal peace of the leader.

Besides this, Bangladesh Santi Parishad and Abdur Razzaque Srimit Sangsad also organized discussion meetings separately marking the day at city's different points.
