The approval was given in the weekly meeting of the cabinet held at Bangladesh Secretariat with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.
Briefing reporters after the meeting cabinet secretary M Musharraf Hossain Bhuiyan said the instruments are - memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the field of tourism and memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the field of culture, arts and heritage.
The two MoUs might be signed during Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's coming visit to Malaysia in the first week of next month, the cabinet secretary said.
Musharraf Hossain said the MoU on tourism cooperation would enhance cooperation in the field of research and development, training and Human Resource Development, and promotional activities for boosting tourism.
The MoU will be implemented through a mutually agreed method and any future dispute will be resolved by mutual discussion through diplomatic channels.
Under the MoU on cooperation in the field of culture, arts and heritage, the cabinet secretary said, both the governments will exchange research and publications and mutual visits of officials and experts in cultural sectors for promoting cultural cooperation.
Cabinet members and State Minister concerned attended the meeting while concerned secretaries were present.
