The move came at a time when trade between the two countries marked a 67percent increase, reflecting Awami League government’s progress towards opening up new opportunities for the country.
It would be the first ever FTA for Bangladesh, which will facilitate both countries to avail of own comparative advantages.
To this effect, a five member delegation form the country went to Srilanka.
