Nearly 250-300 delegates, including ministers and other high officials from 21 Commonwealth countries as well as regulators, and private sector companies and operators are expected to join the high profile event.
The five day meeting and forum would examine and highlight new research and findings on ensuring technology affordability for the underprivileged population and cyber security for the users.
Scholars will present papers on different aspects of broadband, especially mobile broadband, for rural development including food security, cyber security and cyber crime, ICT for people with disabilities, regulatory environments convergence, digital broadcasting switchover, and the use of ICT in education.
