“The government has declared the 8th wage board for journalists. We have the Information Ministry, we’ll look after the implementation of the wage board in all the newspapers,” she said.
The Prime Minister was speaking at a programme at her office (PMO) marking the distribution of financial assistance among the sick, insolvent, injured journalists and family members of those journalists who have died.
