Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina attended the milad and doa mahfil.
Daughter of the Prime Minister Saima Hossain Putul and her other family members and relatives joined the milad.
Besides, Awami League Presidium Members Begum Matia Chowdhury and Advocate Sahara Khatun, leaders and workers of Mohila Awami League and Jubo Mohila League were present.
A special munajat was offered seeking eternal peace of the departed souls of Bangabandhu, Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib and other martyrs of the August 15 carnage.
Prayers were also offered seeking eternal peace of the departed souls of the August 21 grenade attack victims.
