Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina joined the dinner and exchanged pleasantries with the guests, PM's Press Secretary AKM Shamim Chowdhury said.
Members of the cabinet, PM's advisers, parliament members, educationists and high civil and military officials also joined the dinner.
Earlier on her arrival at the venue, the Prime Minister was welcomed by Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith.
