"For this purpose, we have already completed training successfully in a number of phases, and skill development training is being provided now to 650 professionals," she said.
Besides, she said, 3000 professionals are receiving various types of training and the institutions that have been tasked to give the training would arrange job placement for at least 50 percent of the trainees. The Hi-Tech Park Authority MD informed this while inaugurating a recent training workshop on information technology under the "Skill Enhancement Training Project" at the Creative IT, a leading information technology firm in the private sector, in the capital.
As many as 200 graduates are participating in the first phase of the workshop on graphic design, online marketing and hardware and network under the supervision of the Hi-Tech Park Authority.
Hosne Ara added that the Hi-Tech Park Authority would continue its endeavors for capacity building of the professionals to create a skilled manpower in the country.
Later, she handed over certificates to the participants of "Mid-level Training".
Project director of Kaliakoir Hi-Tech Park ANM Shafiqul Islam and managing director of Creative IT Ltd Monir Hossain were present on the occasion, among others.
