On 21st May, 2014, Better World Campaign’s Executive Director and UN Foundation’s Vice President on Public Policy Peter Yeo handed over the award to Bangladesh Embassy’s Political Councilor Naeemuddin Ahmed in Capital Hill, United States.
It’s been awarded to observe United Nations peacekeepers ‘International Day’.
India, Spain, Germany, Ghana, Morocco, Ethiopia and Jordan have also received this award.
Democrat Congressman of California Sam Farr, Congressmen David Cicilline and Deputy Assistant of International Affairs Bureau of MoFA, United States Ms. Victoria K. Holt were present at the ceremony.
