The project, which was approved at a meeting of the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) on Tuesday, will be implemented by the Bangladesh Rural Development Board.
The districts to be covered are Rangpur, Kurigram, Gaibandha, Nilphamari and Lalmonirhat. The project aims to create marketability of products created by local producers. It will provide 60 days of skills training to 33,600 people.
