Speech of 7 March inspired the nation to struggle for freedom: PM

Today, in a seminar on ‘Speech of 7 March: Greatest Speech for Liberation in World History’ Prime Minister said, “Bangabandhu brought us Independence, we will bring economic freedom. Nobody can repress us.”

 

This seminar was organized by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Memorial Trust at Krishibid Institution, Khamarbari.
Sheikh Hasina said, “Bangabandhu never thought of his own. He was driven by the ideal of nation’s freedom. When he declared non-cooperation, people spontaneously followed his instructions.”
Prime Minister called the leaders and activists of every fraternity of Bangladesh Awami League to realize the meaning of the speech.
The seminar was started with the performance of Bangabandhu Shishu Kishor Mela where children sang the National Anthem. The speech of 7 March was displayed in the seminar.
Secretary Member of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Memorial Trust, Mr. Sheikh Hafizur Rahman spoke the welcome speech in the seminar. VC of Premier University, Mr. Anupam Sen presented his paper on the speech of 7 March.
Renowned novelist Selina Hossain and Prof. Shahidul Islam also spoke in the seminar. Executive Director of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Memorial Trust, Mashura Hossain thanked everyone present at the seminar.
Director of Bangla Academy Mr. Shamsuzzaman Khan and Director of Bangabandhu Museum Prof. Salahuddin Ahmed were also present at the seminar.
