Sheikh Hasina said her government has brought the 15th amendment to the constitution so that none can grab power by violating the constitution. "We have amended the martial lawordinances that were cancelled by the High Court," she said. The Prime Minister said over 6,000 elections were held in a free, fair and neutral manner in the last five years of the present government. "As many as 64,023 public representatives were elected through those polls and a single allegation was not raised about the polls," she said. Sheikh Hasina said BNP candidates won most of the city corporation polls. But she wondered how the main opposition can say that vote rigging took place in those polls.
