Vote AL for the continuation of development: Joy

The program named “Let’s Talk” was held in a hotel in Khulna Saturday. 200 students from a wide range of educational institutions joined the program. In this program Joy interacted with the youths of our country who wants to be a part of the future development of Bangladesh.


Replying to a question whether Bangladesh could become a middle- income country, Joy replied,” In some cases we have succeeded more than a half and in some cases half, our income has been doubled in the last five years and poverty has been cut down by 26%.”


While talking about the future plan, he said, “our target is to bring down the poverty rate to 10%, double per capita income and creating more employment.


Urging people to vote AL again he said, “ A good government can take the country forward if its kept in power for 10 or 15 years stretch.” In this case he cited the example of Malaysia.


Talking about his dream about Bangladesh, he said, “(I dream of) a poverty-free modern country and thus a middle-income country where technology will be used thoroughly and income will double from what it is now. We want to reach such a level where we will be compared to Thailand in 10 years and Malaysia in 15 years.”

The Prime Minister’s son had earlier exchanged views with youths in capital Dhaka and the port cityof Chittagong.
