On the occasion, the Prime Minister sent sweetmeats, fruits and various food items for the Freedom Fighters living in the Freedom Fighters Rehabilitation Center at Mohammadpur.
On behalf of the Prime Minister, her assistant private secretary Saifuzzaman Shikhar, protocol officer Sk Akhter Hossain and assistance press secretary M Noor Elahi Mina handed over the PM's gifts to the FFs.
They conveyed PM's good wishes for the FFs and hope for their wellbeing.
Noor Elahi Mina said, receiving the gifts, the Freedom Fighters extended their gratitude to the Prime Minister for remembering them during every festival. They also prayed for her government's success.
They hoped that the present government with the mandate of the people would come to power again and execute the court verdicts against the war criminals.
