"I don't have any information but as a politician, I can smell that people of the country will again vote for Awami League and bring it to power," said Syed Ashraf while speaking at a programme in the capital today. He further said, the next general election would be held in time and all political parties including BNP would take part in that.
Once again rejecting the opposition's demand to restore the caretaker government system before the national elections, Ashraf said, unelected and thus, undemocratic government can never be an alternative in a democratic country.
