Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina called for concluding the BIMSTEC Free Trade Agreement (FTA) which was negotiated in 2004.
HPM Sheikh Hasina suggested three specific ways for BRICS to engage closely with BIMSTEC, saying this was a timely step to identify mutual scope as well as synergies for cooperation. She made the remarks while addressing at the BRICS-BIMSTEC Outreach Summit held in Goa on Sunday.
